The 2-story penthouse located on 12 South Lexington Avenue makes for the highest sale since 2017.
April 13, 2021, Asheville, NC — Beverly-Hanks agents Scott Mills and William Coin listed and sold unit 603 at 12 South Lexington Avenue in downtown Asheville for $2,075,000, making it the largest downtown condo sale to date, according to the MLS. This sale beats the previous record of $1,775,000 set by the Coin + Mills Team in 2015.
This 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom unit features 3,279 square feet and more than 800 square feet of outdoor space with rolling mountain views. The unit was on the market 96 days before going under contract.
“After working in the downtown Asheville market since 2010, our team is thrilled to have listed this amazing unit and to have brought the buyer,” said listing agent, William Coin. “We weren’t sure how the pandemic would affect the downtown market, and we definitely saw things slow down in the spring of 2020. Since then, we have listed three units in this building. Two have closed and one is under contract.”
12 South Lexington is a mixed-use development built in 2006. It features two businesses on the bottom floor and 43 condominium units above.
